I moved from Ohio nearly a year ago. I had Medicaid there. I have no proof of income as I don't work and no insurance. Is there anything else I can bring? I need to get a mammogram as well can I get this here or do you refer.

Hi Julie, We are a non-profit free healthcare clinic for the uninsured low-income families of Collin County. Just to clarify we are being mistaken for another clinic that is for Medicaid or people with insurance and charge a sliding scale fee for the uninsured. We do not charge for our services and ask only for a donation if you can make one. We do not receive any federal funding and will not turn you away because you are not working. Please give me a call tomorrow at 972-547-0606 and ask for Jackie. I’m the Executive Director. We are open from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. New patients generally call on Tuesdays to qualify, but again please call and ask for me tomorrow.

They care for pt without insurance. You have Medicaid so that should be enough. Just go there with your insurance card and id and let them know u don't work. You might not be required to pay copay since you are unemployed. Just remember no one is turned away. The program is fund by the government for underprivileged and anyone with or without insurance

Call and talk to them about it 8am Mon-Fri. I'm sure they can help you to figure something out since you do not work.
