Do they allow FMJ ammo on the rifle range?

Yes they do. No steel case or steel core, I also believe they don't like the aluminum cases

Yes: The following types of ammunition ARE permitted: new or factory re-manufactured brass cased handgun and rifle ammunition in its original packaging. Ball, soft point, hollow point and full metal jacket rounds are permitted (subject to restrictions below). The following types of ammunition are NOT permitted: steel or aluminum case, steel core, steel shot, tracer or armor piercing ammunition. Muzzle loaders and black powder firearms are also not permitted.

Full metal jacket ok. No steel core no steel or aluminum cases.

FMJ is ok but the type of brass used is restricted. What's the thought process on this? Just curious.
