After calling and explaining what I needed, I took a bronze statue in for cleaning and I had been assured that they had done this before and had the necessary experience. After taking longer than originally stated I went to pickup the statue when I was told it was ready. When I arrived to pick up the statue to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The bronze statue looked like it had been poorly painted with gold paint. The base plate that the statue had been attached to was missing. When I asked about the base plate they were like "oh you wanted that back" I told them yes it was part of the statue. They went into the back and brought it out, it hadn't been touched. I told them that it needs to be cleaned at which point I was told to return in three days. When I returned to pickup the statue and base they had only cleaned one side and told me I could finish cleaning it. When I returned home with the statue I realized that in addition to the terrible work that the statue had been damaged. The gun barrel had been broken off and was missing. Additionally a piece was missing off the saddle roll.This was a bronze statue called the "Mountain Man" by Remington valued at approximately $1200.00.

I just picked up a GT fork and 4 piece bars I had re-chromed, and I’m happy to say they look great. The price was great, not bad turnaround… for an old school BMX bike builder, it’s awesome to have a good shop 15 minutes away. I’ll be using Al’s again very soon! This was like a test run. I have a Bunch of parts to chrome. I’ll be in touch.

Al’s did a beautiful job on my parts I sent , exhaust pipe covers and some Milwaukee eight engine parts ,very good price also ,you won’t be disappointed, Turn around was is fairly quick . Thumbs up

If it can be plated, Al's will plate it and do a great job!
It is impossible to quote chrome without seeing what we are working with. Unlike other plating shops around the nation, we do not generalize our prices with enough markup to cover worse case scenario. We see items, such as yours, that need very little labor, and we see others so bad that they are completely unusable. Give us a call. Perhaps you can email us pictures if you cannot get to us to see the parts.
It can be stripped. We prefer to polish the aluminum and then you can find an annodize shop to locknit in. It can be plated, but some alloys blister when others plate beautifully.
We can do those. Give us a call Monday through Friday 9-4:30. Ask for James or Darryle. They do have to see what you have to give an accurate quote.
We cannot quote parts without looking at them. There are far too many variables in designs and condition. On common parts, we can give you an approximate price over the phone.
