Not a place for people of color. Place is good but people are not welcoming.

Such a great visit, loved all of the workers and the beautiful facility! My daughter had such a great time!

All the horses there are great. However, Julie can't seem to keep any trainers. One of the 3 pastures there are seems to keep getting smaller. All the pastures are way too small for 25-30 horses. The waters troughs are never moved, so it is constantly flooded around them. You can tell the feeder truely loves and cares about the horses, and does her best to take care of them. There are, however, 3 that need to be retired, in their mid 20's. One of the horses I know for sure was told by the vet to be a dressage only horse or to retire him because of a medical issue. Since then, he has been jumped over fences. They dont train their horses to keep them in shape or to help their performance. There are several horses that wont be ridden for months, then picked for a lesson and doesnt do well. Overall, I do not recommend riding here

I went out to this facility last week to inquire about some things. I had never been there before… but had seen an ad on fb and thought I would check it out. My very first impression from outside the gate looking in was… “ Wow… this place is BEAUTIFUL! “ At the gate I was met by the groundskeeper Vinny. HUGE SMILE and extremely personable. Kind of like I’d known him for years. As I pulled through the gate to either side of me were horses. Nice big open spaces for them and what really did it for me was the condition of the horses. I have been in the horse industry for over 25 years. I have seen the worst cases of neglect and abuse all the way up to the most well taken care of horse that’s humanly possible. These horses look incredible! What’s more telling to me is that it wasn’t just a few horses… I looked at about 18-20 of them all throughout this property and each and EVERY one of them are in remarkable condition. That doesn’t happen without effort and conviction. Some of the horses I saw were in their mid 20’s, but by no means look their age. After pulling up and meeting a few staff members ..I was already impressed, but they raised the bar. I met the owner Julie who was very gracious and friendly. I actually sat and talked with her until the sun started to set. This facility offers a gorgeous covered arena which is VERY welcoming for those hot Texas days… lots of jumps and intended obstacles in the outside arena for events or just to have some fun. I watched Vinny make a fire so that all the staff and lesson kids could have hotdogs and lemonade. It truly is a little sanctuary of enchantment. There’s even a little enclosed farm animal petting area. Great to take the little ones while older brother or sister are taking lessons. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone who wants horseback riding lessons… birthday parties… or horse camp memories! GREAT JOB JULIE AND STAFF!!!

There is no specific weight limit, but depending on your BMI, riding can become difficult, but at a walk it shouldn't affect you. There is no such thing as a ticket here, but you can get more information about pony rides on the website.
There is an outside, covered ring, very large, about 60 yards by 20 yards. Most lessons are inside the ring.
We are only doing pony/horse activities at our facility currently.
