A detective hit my car and they left me a police report. I didnt have insurance for this month since i couldnt afford because my insurance went up. so my parked was parked in front of my residence and a police officer hit my car. what should i do?

You weren't driving & parked. Inquire how to get it fixed. You are not at fault, lots of people don't have insurance and parked there cars until they do. It's no law for having a car, just driving without coverage . Don't have to prove or fix with your insurance . They were at fault, no proof has to be given. Get your car fix.
