why does the city feel the need to take down soccer nets/goals during the summer? it is a time of great weather and a time lots of people have free. so therefore the nets should always be up and open to the public

Likely to save turf from overuse during off season. Fcd also restricts their grass fields throughout the year

Nothing to do with weather. If they leave them up, they are taken. Plain and simple

They do alot of maintenance on the sprinkler systems and fields before the next season starts

Kids will tear them down and the weather will game them. It's costly to repair or replace those nets.

Im surr they think of thr worse case scenario ..that in fact they will be torn ip unsupervised.. It is a sad world we live in!
