I just took my cat to the vet for that because she had lots of burrs tangled under her belly. Human society won't do it because it's considered to be a cosmetic procedure.

I wouldn't like to get rid of my dogs, because I love them, but unfortunately I'm moving and I can't take them with me. Can I take them to the shelter to put them up for adoption? it's a German shepherd and a mix German shepherd.
