I believe ur question has been answered. Please adopt and make sure the animal is what u want. Those guys get attached very quickly. If u give them up it breaks their hearts. They r like children. Once they get used 2 u... that's it. Small dogs can live 4 almost 30 years. So make sure it is what u want. Like children they will follow u even into the bathroom. Haha 😄

Jenean, HSNT has built our policies around saving lives. Our adoptions have grown almost 30% in the past two years by expanding our transfer and foster programs in order to help save even more lives. We do everything in our power to find homes for all pets in our care or transfer them to other shelters, rescues, or fosters. At times, we do have to euthanize animals, but mainly for reasons pertaining to health or temperament. When our shelter is full, unfortunately we may need to euthanize for space; however, only as a last resort.
