I have a 8 month puppy that has something lodged in his intestines. Can't afford to all of the money at once for the surgery that is needed. Does anyone know where I can get help? Seems like I'm at the mercy of the Vets. He has a few days to live.

You need to take your dog in. Its not safe for you to ask here and expect a professional answer nor is it wise for your poor pup to suffer. There are several vets in the area and if you have to surrender him to the Humane Society because it'd be too expensove to provide the care he needs, maybe it'd be best.

Robert we're happy to hear you got a second opinion. Unfortunately we don't have a wellness clinic but are glad to know your pup is going to be ok! Thank goodness.

After all the questions,my dog is alive and well. The Vet was trying to get some quick money after a second opinion . Thanks for all of feedback.

There is really no one around here. Can you qualify for Care Credit? As a former vet tech I can tell you that's really your only option. If you don't find a vet please don't let him suffer. As sad as you'll be to let him go his suffering will be much worse. Best of luck to you both.

Only place that does low cost surgery that I know of is in Denver, Colorado.
