I recently adopted a dog that came from your shelter through Humane Animal Welfare Society (Waukesha, WI) and Dodge County Humane Society (Dodge County, WI), I was wondering why there was no rabies tag to go on his collar.

I'm sure it was just an error or the tag could have fallen out of the paper work. I believe a rabies shots have to be given once a year. Check with that humane society to find out how often . I hope this helps.

You’ll need to get with the receiving organization you adopted through, please. They’ll be able to help. All pets are current on vaccines. If you adopted a puppy, you’ll need future vaccinations. But to answer your question, all ours transported are fully vetted. Speak with the agency you adopted from. 🐾
