In our attempt to gain approval to paint, I have asked to email the "board" and I am told that can't be done. Why if AAM supposedly works for us can't we take our concerns directly to the decision makers?

Mark, The unfortunate answer here is that AAM has positioned themselves to do what they deem necessary, not what’s in your best interest as the homeowner. If this is the first frustration you’ve had with AAM, be prepared for many more to come.

As the managing agent contracted by the Board of Directors for the association, we serve as the conduit between the homeowners and the Board. Any concerns or requests that need to be escalated to the board are done so and once the board responds communication is returned to the homeowner based on the inquiry.
