I'd give them a zero if I could. I've documented and complained the them about all kinds of issues for well over a month with little to no response (from bug infestation, to garage being thrown everywhere, to street lights being down for 7 months, etc. and code violations on our new construction community site and what do I get in response? A retaliatory violation about a dead plant that our sponsor refused to replaced despite it being the wrong plant due to overexposure to the sun. Shady company working for a shady developer. Stay far away.

It is really a pleasure to write this review. We just finished a renovation and move in to our new condo. Despite all the stress and chaos, Susan from property management was awesome. I don’t know how we could have done it without her. She really brings tremendous value to this property and I feel grateful and lucky to have her on my side

AAM's approach is reactive, break-fix, squeaky-wheel vs. proactive, preventative and service oriented. When you submit a request there is no SLA (service level agreement) for how long it should take to assign a service provider, no level of severity (last request and loudest complaint gets more attention). No self-accountability service performance scorecard / client satisfaction rating/feedback etc. Only one(1) HOA meeting a year with the community. They could do much better with a few minor internal processing configuration changes and improvements.

This company has officially made me never want to buy a house with an HOA again no matter the location or company. Their excessive rules and demands have made me trying to live in my own home uncomfortable. Don’t buy a house here.

Reach out to Customer Service and they will provide you with the Certificate of Insurance, If you need the full policy they probably have you reach out to the insurance provider.

I submitted an appeal request. How long does it take before I will hear back. The original submittal took almost 3 weeks.

I believe they have up to the length that is stated in your HOA guidelines.

In our attempt to gain approval to paint, I have asked to email the "board" and I am told that can't be done. Why if AAM supposedly works for us can't we take our concerns directly to the decision makers?

Mark, The unfortunate answer here is that AAM has positioned themselves to do what they deem necessary, not what’s in your best interest as the homeowner. If this is the first frustration you’ve had with AAM, be prepared for many more to come.

We have been trying to gain approval for painting our house, in Mission Royal II. How can the "board" approve color patterns for the one end of the neighborhood and NOT approve them for the other, within the same HOA?

Associated Asset Management (AAM, LLC) | Oct 19, 2019

Mission Royal II has a few different builders in the community. Each builder has slightly different color schemes and materials. When reviewing a submittal to paint a home the Architectural Review Committee will determine if the colors will blend with the immediate surrounding homes. If the committee determines the scheme works with the adjacent homes they will approve it. If a homeowner is not happy with a committee decision they can appeal to the Board of Directors via the community manager.
