Your debt relief program should've contacted all of your accounts already and should be willing to contact whoever is suing. If all you are receiving is social security benefits I don't believe the creditor can get a judgment against those funds but taking the initiative to contact the creditor in the meantime should provide a brief relief. Explain your situation and your plan to get out of debt in writing with another offer to the creditor to be a part of your debt solution program. They are likely going to if they haven't already written the debt off. In your contact ask the creditor to provide proof that you owe the debt and that they still have the right according to consumer finance laws to collect it. Good luck!

Lori, I am on social security too, but in response to your question, am sorry, I do not have an answer......I have never been on a debt relief program, was that program a scam to begin with?
