If u r out of warranty, u can go anywhere to get it repaired. But it doesn't harm to show it at store before doing so if its not like screen crack. Some issues cud be fixed for free at store
Radio Shack has gone down the tubes. At least it has around northern Illinois. I personally would only take Apple products to Apple stores.
