Unless it's changed, no. They have a ticket system when you go in and a board indicating your place in line. With my experiences they are very slow if there's any amount of people in line. You'll want to take your time and maybe grab a coffee beforehand :).
I don't think so when I went they had 3 people and I was there for over a hour to turn in equipment
I'm not aware that you can make appointments. I've waited about an hour before on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe coffee before, during and after....

Yes. Not all stores participate, but you can make an appointment via their website. You cannot make same-day appointments, they need to be about 48 hours in advance at least. It's also difficult to find on their website you have to click on the individual store and then from there you can make an appointment. When you arrive at the store, there is a place where everybody puts their name on the next in line board. You sign in and enter your name and your reservation code, and your name goes to the top of the list.
