There is a fishing dock by one of the indoor pools. I believe they offer a pole rental and one day fishing permit for $20. You can contact the main office for further info.
Sorry, we don't know of anyone providing fishing lessons near by, but any local sporting goods shop might be able to point you in the right direction. No fishing is permitted within 50 feet of the swimming area (including the boat dock. However, you can fish at the far end of Mill Pond, near the dam, opposite side from the pool. Fishing is also permitted at the VIP Pond. We don't rent fishing gear or sell bait. All fishing and boating is subject to PA Fish & Boat Commission regulations. Good luck and enjoy!

The lake in the property rents rods and sells the bait. About learning how to fish is best to look it up on Utube cause different places and conditions calls for different techniques and baits
