Who do I talk to or contact about a dispute with the hospital? They want to charge me $707.36 for an arm /wrist brace that cost less than $35.00 at any store????? I called and they were very RUDE when I asked for an itemized bill.

Your insurance should cover it, you may have to pay a co-pay but it should be covered. Yes by law they have to provide you with itemized bill.

Call them and ask to speak to the patient advocate. By law, they have to provide you with an itemized bill. You can also contact the ombudsman, and joint commision.
