You won't be able to see all og it but the rooms are separated by era so you could choose what you want to see.
I volunteer at the Information desk and we suggest you spend 2 days to really experience the Museum. 23 acres under roof, over 1 million square feet of floor area and over 360 airplanes, etc. Look for hotels in Fairborn, Riverside and Beavercreek. Open 9 to 5 every day of the year, except Thanksgiving Day, December 25 and January 1. Free admission and parking.
If you go through quickly and don't look at absolutely everything its possible to do it in 3 hours. A good trip would be more like 5 hours.
About three hours in each of the four hangars could cover it, myself four hours each hangar to get the experience. The museum is free, so if you have three hours or one day for each hangar, don't miss this awesome museum.
4 to 5 hrs would be adequate.
You can see it all, but you won't be able to get all the info, call it a whirlwind tour. Better than not seeing it
My advice would be to pick a couple sections and don't spend time in the gift shop to save time
You can breeze through in about 3 hours if you do not read all the details on each display.
It takes an entire day to see everything. 3 hours is not enough but would be worthwhile to just walk through all the exhibits without stopping to read. Make sure you gonto the last hangar and visit the Presidential airplanes. You can walk through them.
Three hours is not enough time to see everything. But if you prioritize and map out your visit you will be able to see what is important to you. I would stop it is totally worth a visit.
