Could be the best field trip you ever planned. If possible make it an over night event or to see as much as possible in a single day break your groups down and rotate them thriugh the the 4 individual guided tours if need be. If well planned it will go smooth. Food it not cheap but not over priced considering the admission is ZERO. There is a great souvenir shop and a few pay too experience avricities. Other than that more than you could ever imagine sitting in one place.
That would depend on the age of the kids and how many chaperones you have. The place is huge and there's a plenty of cool things to see, it might be a handful if you don't have help.
Absolutely! Especially because it's all free, even the tours.
A amazing affordable (free) place to tale all and anyone. Will take about 2 to 3 hours to go through the whole museum, more if you area a aeroplane fanatic.
Everyone. Young or old, everyone needs to see this museum.
No
Our class (33 + a few teachers) toured it, and it lasted all day without boredom. I suggest starting in the back and moving towards the front. It's nice because there's not any place to go, so using the buddy system would be fine for upper elementary schoolers if you have enough chaperones.
Absolutely! SAM2600 is chock full of history and the Memphis Belle is a must see.
