We are generally able to start an exterior project within a week or two. It's also often possible to start sooner if it's a rush job. As for how long it takes, very generally speaking it can take anywhere from two to five days to paint a typical house. It will depend on the amount of prep work required, the size of the home, number of floors, and the weather.
It really depends on what is being painted. Is it interior or exterior? Is there a lot of detail work? Is it all one color or is the trim a different color? Will there be an accent wall. Is it furnished and occupied or completely vacant? The most time consuming part of painting is generally the masking of areas and prep work. The painting itself generally goes pretty quickly. I've seen some pretty big projects finished in a week, while others take two or three.
