As an 80 year old, very healthy female, who has had a lazy eye since birth, is there any new technology available that could help with either straightening the eye or even improve its vision?

Elisabeth, if anyone has it, Wills Eye Hospital does! They do procedures there, for years, that doctors where we live, are saying are experimental. And they've been doing these procedures for a decade. Call them!!!! Highly recommended.

Im in the same boat with the ugly lazy eye thing. Its mentally plagued me my entire life (I'm 55). Corrective surgery is not guaranteed & is not now paid for by health insurance & is considered "cosmetic surgery". What a bunch of bull. I was at both hospitals, Wills & Scheie, 20+ yrs ago & may revisit soon. Any advice sincerely appreciated. Thanx👀😉👍
