I wrote a review, and ADT thought the best course of action would be to refer me to "The Defenders" that were the direct reason for this entire mess in the first place. WHY would I want you to refer me back to them? You know they lie about everything

ADT dealers sell the alarm system and cameras much cheaper than adt corporate then once installed they sell the 26 month contract to ADT corporate... it’s the cheapest and fastest way to go

If you signed a contract with an authorized dealer then you do have to communicate with that dealer until the contract is over. That dealer performs the install & handles your billing until you switch to an ADT Corp. Owned account.
