HORRIBLE SYSTEMS and SERVICES. Liars, poor equipment, won't call back, terrible service. Avoid ADT. Company went downhill in the last 5 years. Do not use this service. They are horrible. They said they would call back in 5 minutes and never, never called back. They said I would get one month credit this year and last year and never gave the credit. I feel this is the worst security system around. THREE WEEKS LATER ADT STILL WILL NOT ANSWER!!!!! WHAT A FARCE. MY SYSTEM STILL WILL NOT SHUT OFF!!!!!

Dealing with ADT is dealing with lies. I am waiting for a refund check since 12/21. Every time I call, I email, I am told that the check has been requested. So where is the check? Beware that they roll your contract over. I signed a 3 year contract. 8 1/2 years later, they kept a portion of my refund as "I needed to give them 30 days notice." As far as I am concerned, I did not have a valid contract that many years later!! Beware! To Owner- don't give me one of your justifications. There is no justification for not sending a refund check. Just send my refund check. I filed a complaint with BBB. ADT told BBB that they were going to mail the refund. The check still has not been mailed! Another lie!!! Why would any paying customer deal with such an unscrupulous provider!!!! Too much aggravation! 10.12.22 - Does it get any better? The ADT rep just stated that the check was sent to the old address. Why? I closed the account because I moved from there. YOU HAVE MY NEW ADDRESS!!!!! There is seriously something wrong with the Company.

ADT locks customers into 3 year contracts without properly informing them. I had been with ADT for 9 years and several months ago converted to a digital system. I spent 1000 dollars on equipment and the system never worked properly. I had techs over to the house on multiple occasions without any resolution. Then they charged me 900 dollars to cancel my contract. It was worth the money to never have to deal with this unscrupulous company ever again. Vivint has much better customer care, equipment, and can be cancelled any time without hidden fees.

ADT dealers sell the alarm system and cameras much cheaper than adt corporate then once installed they sell the 26 month contract to ADT corporate... it’s the cheapest and fastest way to go
