You have to pay to get in. Amusement parks and water parks have large insurance premiums. Everyone required to pay to get in to off set all costs associated with running these establishments.

Because the kids are not to be left alone even if u dont get in water so if something happens they knw there is a responsible adult and because not just anyone can walk in everyone is accounte for safer that way

Try Sahara Sam's, they don't charge you to go in over age 65. There is also Knoebels in PA that doesn't charge you and Dutch Wonderland charges you less depending on age.
Every pool is the same u have to pay even if your not getting to the water
