Absolutely. Make sure to bring a leash b/c there will be lots of pups on the trail. Everyone is usually really good about keeping or putting leashes on when they see other hikers.

Yes, but be aware that the first portion of the trail is sand and sun exposed and will be top hot for dogs feet by 1 pm or so. You need to go early or bring booties.
