I have a cat I have to get rid of due to having to move into an apartment after my house burned. She is a Siamese/Birman with med long hair. She has problems. If I take her to a shelter will she get put down?

The Humane Society of Utah takes owner turnovers. Best Friends Animal Society does not. I would check with the apartment complex before turning the cat over. Most complexes are pet friendly.
