Only if you live within the city ordinances of salt lake. If it's south salt lake you live and found the cat. You'll have to take them to the south salt lake animal shelter

If you live in Magna, Kearns, Millcreek you can. If you live in taylorsville then you have to take it to the West Valley City shelter.
