When a waitress or bartender makes first point of business to be certain we all have ID (were both over 50)does that mean she's lazy or wanted to be a cop. Lose money. ID everyone.

Maybe they were being investigated and just checking everyone's while being watched. I'm over age so I don't mind showing ID if that gets me what I want which is an adult beverage without kids running around.

In Washington state the law says you have to have your ID on you or both you and the bartender are in trouble, the bartender can loose their license over it. I believe Oregon is the same or very similar. If the bar has had any issues I've seen them checked nightly for a few weeks or so. Sorry it's no fun for bartender or patron.
