The ambiance and menu are of a very traditional steakhouse (not a bad thing). The cocktails were right on and the filet was excellent. And the onion rings are out of this world and worth the hype…that sauce!

This place was the bomb!!! I was so full. They are generous with the portions and the service was phenomenal and quick. We also had our own coat hangers section next to our table. Such a great experience. The lobster tails duo was EVERYTHING

First time in Portland and this is now one of my favorite places. This is the type of place where you come back and bring friends. You'll surely become a repeat customer and recommend this place to friends. The staff is extremely tentative to the customers and the food is delicious. Be sure to book in advance for your trip, a reservation is a must.

Just fantastic! We had William as our server- he was both patient and explained the different cuts to me and was funny which made it a fun night. The team there works so effortlessly together and it made for an amazing birthday experience. I said to my partner “why would I pay $70 for a piece of steak?” And after having their ribeye- I know why. Absolutely delicious! We got the onions rings, ribeye, and NY strips

My family has been going to Ringside for my birthday for the past 8 years and there has never been mention of a dress code. I love getting dressed up in amazing dresses for a night at Ringside, while my Father and Husband are incredibly casual my husband usually wears a polo and jeans with nice shoes while my father has always gone in athletic wear. My mom wears clothing that is a step below how formal I am so we have always had a hodgepodge of styles at our table and no one has every batted an eyelash at us. You can pretty much wear whatever you want and feel comfortable with.

Website says business casual but we saw a number of patrons in nice jeans on a Friday night. Maybe that is the new business casual?
Hi Kat, expensive is relative as we all have different incomes. For me it's expensive, but worth it for a Portland tradition that he's been at the same spot for around 40 years. One of the best steaks you will find in town and impeccable service. The wine list is one of the best in Oregon. I mis-spoke. . The Ringside opened 76 years ago, well before I was born.
Yes, my wife and I just used one for an amazing dinner
You can usually get same day reservations if you're a little flexible on time. Otherwise a couple days is sufficient.
Happy Hour: Mon. – Sat. 9:30 – close • Sundays: 4pm – 5:30pm & 9:30 – close
Isnt that how "fine" dining experience set steak knives?
You should have the reservation through OpenTable if you did it online. Through the app or website, you can check, modify, or cancel your reservation.
If you subscribe to their email list, they announce when they have steak sales. After you purchase they email you a half hour time window when you can pick up your food. Very easy, convenient and safe process in these covid times.
No, purchase them online today and the parking lot part happens on Saturday. Ringsidesteakhouse.com and start adding stuff to your cart.
I'm not sure but it did sound good.
I could have sworn I've had the Porterhouse there before, I know their menu changes but have failed to notice to what extent 🤷♀️
Yes, they do.
yes, I believe they were in 2018
Pretty sure it was 4 PM
Our corkage fee is $20 per 750 mL bottle.
Good service, food very enjoyable. The food quality might be matched but improved can't imagine that.
They aren’t closing. That was the Ringside Grill
