It depends on what needs to be done and which specialist is doing it. I would definitely call VSS they would be able to help you.
After your regular vet refers you and you call for an appointment VSS will give you an estimated bill for the office visit and tests that may be needed. They accept Care Credit which you can set up online or they will help you with the application. They are very good.
They do not do routine vet services. Different specialists charge different amounts.
We have only used the emergency services which are rarely typical. I recommend calling if you have financial concerns.
We love VSS we have two yorkies that have heart issues and take medicine daily which cost about 100 a month per dog but is well worth it.
