End of September 2016 was upper 70's low 80's Last September 2017 was cooler, mid 60's to mid 70's 2016 was just before a hurricane passed near. 2017 was just after a hurricane hit directly.
we go down every year and the highs are 65-75
Temps in the 50' s generally. We live in Rodanthe,this is the best time of year.
Weather is still good. In the 70's. Rates are lower than summer rates, but still vary depending on site, canin, etc.
September rates were for fhu not water side in the 60s, about 40 % full.
We were there I from 09/10/17 thru 11/05/17,never a cold day, all days were 64 degrees or warmer,sunny beautiful days, the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets ever,,October is off season rates
We were there in December so I don't know about October weather but my guess would be that it's really nice. We stayed 3 days so didn't consider the weekly or monthly rate
