Because I am a guard I know there are cameras at various locations throughout the garage. Unless there is an event the museum closes at 5. You will be responsible if you leave your vehicle after the parking garage closes to contact Security to let you out of the gate.
It's approximately $1 per hour of parking. Can't tell the exact amount because I lost my ticket on the day of visit so I had to pay $9 (cost for the whole day) on moving out of the parking lot. I would say the place is secure, not sure if there are cameras though. But there is just an attendant at the gate. The entire area which include the parking lot is however within the Springfield CBD. The garage is not well lit though, at least the second level where I parked.
