There's a chance you'll be driving over a graded snow road. I ve driven oit many times over winter without issue. Be prepared for winter when you drive out there.
The road to Atlanta is a postal route so the roads are kept plowed throughout the winter. Some say they enjoy driving during snow fall up here because the plows create a a wall of snow on the cliff side and it fills in washboard and what not. But dont forget to come prepared in case of a break down. It gets cold! Also, tire chains are a good idea. I hope that answers your question 😊
Depends on snow fall. Can be very dangerous but doable.
