Are the bears a problem these days? Or any other dangerous animal there?

When we were there the Week of July 6th, there was one night where a bear came through. I think it got into some coolers that neighbors had left out.

That was probley us, didn't have enough room in the bear box and instead of finding a empty one it got left out, rookies.lol

We were there last week. Bear came thru the campground every night at about 1 am. As long as your food was in the bear box and ice chests put away then no problems. They look for easy targets then move on.

I didnt experience any bears but for sure make sure to follow instructions and hide all food items in the bear box and lock it

We were here for the last five days and had absolutely no problem. However, the day before we arrived a car was broken into because the owner left a food container inside. Use the bear boxes and exercise basic precautions and you're okay 😊

Yes. We were there last week and a nearby campsite had to scare a bear away in the middle of the night. (They did not put their belongings in the bear box) If you take the proper precautions the bears 'should' leave you alone.
