Yes they're affiliated. New Haven is the original but the Waterbury location have yet to disappoint me.. So I would say absolutely!
None are as good as new haven, not even close, just a franchise that does not take the same care!
Most definitely not as good as the original Frank Pepe's in New Haven! There's no comparison as far as I'm concerned I've been going there for over 45 years. The Waterbury location doesn't seem to understand how to prepare the dough correctly it's way too thick and undercooked
