They've put in a lot of work restoring Holyland. It's a beautiful place to visit, with sweeping views of Waterbury. And of course the famous cross.

As someone who loves God and Jesus. It's a really nice spot, It is pretty creepy and eerie closer to night because one of my aunt's friend died here. Other than that it's nice

The front area with the small structures are not maintained. Thought it was still cool to visit. Free, large area to enjoy the views and relax.

Amazing place, I wish I could help them restore it for free and open up new paths to discover things. Go visit if you can

It's an abandoned place, no staff, but police take notice after sunset.
"This place" Holy Land opened in 1955. A lawyer was the one who started it. It closed for renovations in 1984. You can read the story of Holy Land on Google.
