Like Stephanie said it has definitely become a tourist attraction. I would also buy at least the day before an outing.
The flagship store has become a bit of a tourist attraction. Besides, most stores don't open until at least nine. Go the day before. I don't think they sell live bait, anyway, which you can get almost anywhere the day of a fishing trip, and that is the only thing I can think of you'd not be able to buy early. Otherwise, take it up with management. Im just a patron.
@ Richard Ethier My only explanation would be it's set for a more planned type of visitation, like off season or not the spur of the moment. Times are more set for the mass population, Happy hunting though and sorry if this answer wasn't what your looking for.
