Cabelas allows concealed and open carry firearms where state laws govern the situation. The signs to check firearms are for guns being returned or traded in to the store.
As long as you don't plan on removing it from the holster and its concealed you are good to go. Just went about 3 weeks ago and the gentlemen told me as long as I didn't unholster the weapon I was fine without the firearm check in. pretty sure that only applies to pistols though. "Pennsylvania" not sure of other states
Concealed or open carry do not have to be checked in after all that defeats the purpose of concealed carry
