We pay just over one thousand dollars per month. I know it's high but the houses themselves are relatively cheap. You couldn't ask for a better place to live. The people that I've met through my years here at the village are nothing short of a miracle. They are friendly, caring, thoughtful, welcoming, truth is you couldn't ask for better than that. We have a great seniors club that hosts a large variety of events. Parties, bingo, pokeno. All sorts of stuff. ELS, the owners of the property also have parties and events for us, so there's always something going on. I don't think you could find a cheaper place to live on long Island. AS OF JAN. 2022, MONTHLY RENT INCREASES HAVE BEEN 7.9%. RENTS HAVE GONE UP BY AS MUCH AS $90 AND WILL RISE 4.5% OR CPI, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER. LOOK AT YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN. LEGISLATION HAS BEEN INTRODUCED IN NYS SENATE AND ASSEMBLY TO LIMIT INCREASES TO 3% BUT THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN SIGNED INTO LAW.
