Do a search for parking in the area. we parked at 5 dollar parking (the name of the place) it is a bit of a walk but you can use the river walk and have a nice view.
I'm not sure. We walked from the Riverwalk. You can do a Google search where to park near the Alamo. The street in front of the Alamo is blocked off. There is no through traffic.
We were staying at a hotel on the Riverwalk and walking. However, there are a number of public parking lots in the vicinity of the Alamo.
There is a parking inside the mall, you pay when your leave. Not expensive $$

River Center Mall parking garage is the easiest way to and from the Alamo.
There will be signs for Alamo parking when you get close.
There is lots of parking in the area. We went with family (and about 3-4 cars) and we all ended up parking in different locations (all within a short walking distance). We just drove there and found when we arrived; but it may be better, as Monte suggested earlier, if you search for parking in the area first.
