Track your package first. Find out where the last place it was reported to be. Call that FedEx location and ask them where the package is: it it at that location, can you actually find it there? If not, where is it? Is it in transit to the next destination? When did it leave? Even though FedEx is an okay carrier, I've had them loose packages; they just seem to disappear. So it's important that when you call you put emphasis on where the package is: they need to tell you exact location. They are very experienced in giving you "the run around". Hope this helps. Also, ask for phone numbers of other FedEx locations where it might be and write down the names of the people who you talk to.
You have to call. Be prepared it's not an easy process
