I don’t know if you’ll see this as your question is from a year ago, but I highly recommend looking into an EAGALA certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. If you are drawn to horses and looking for a therapeutic outlet this could be extremely helpful to you

Pegasus Academy is mainly therapy for special needs children and adults. They do have a volunteer program to care for the horses. If you have a desire to care for horses you might be able to volunteer but I don't think they would let you ride the horses for therapy unless you were special needs. You would have to ask them if they provide this service. Your best bet is to call them to find out if they will fit your needs.
