Pegasus is a godsend for children! I absolutely love it so much and am so thankful for everything that they've done for my son and for all of the other children! They are so understanding, communicative, willing to try new ways of doing things or presenting tasks/directions! The are so supportive of the children, their families and all of the workers/volunteers! I can't thank everyone enough! Even when my son wasn't having a good day and couldn't ride the entire lesson, they were still kind and supportive! The teachers are all wonderful and the higher ups actively work with all the children and give such amazing motivation! My son keeps getting better and better with the love and care he gets from everyone there! Truly personalized and engaged with everyone! They go above and beyond for everyone and in all that they do! My son is excited to come every week! He loves Molly and the other horses! He loves working with everyone there! Thank you so much!! You don't know how much you mean to all of us and how you change lives!!

No. We are a therapeutic riding program and do not offer traditional lessons for the general public. We would recommend Northwestern Stables for a riding lesson program. Thank you and good luck on your search.
Hello Ms. Jennings! All information regarding cost and billing procedures, along with general programming questions can be found in our New Rider Registration paperwork. This can be found on our website under the Therapeutic Riding tab. If you have any specific questions regarding the registration process please call 215-742-1500 ext 110.
Good morning Esther, Thank you for your interest in riding at Pegasus TRA. We are a year round riding program. Most FAQ’s can be found on our website at pegasusridingacademy.com Our therapeutic riders download and fill out paperwork complete with a medical form filled out by a dr. If you are looking at recreational riding, we have a program that meets on Tuesdays for adult riders. Our riders are assigned a lesson time and ride weekly with us. Cost can be found on our website as well. Please feel free to phone the office for more information and we would be happy to speak with you
I don’t know if you’ll see this as your question is from a year ago, but I highly recommend looking into an EAGALA certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program. If you are drawn to horses and looking for a therapeutic outlet this could be extremely helpful to you
From Pegasus Website http://www.pegasusridingacademy.com/volunteer-with-us/ You must be 14 years or older in order to volunteer at Pegasus. All volunteers are required to go through an orientation and training session. Volunteers must have medical insurance as well. Additionally, all volunteers ages 18 and older are required by Pennsylvania State Law to obtain Child Abuse History Clearance and a PA Criminal History report prior to attending the orientation and training session. Additional information about these requirements can be found in the Volunteer Registration form.
