Most are eligible to start working after their first thirty days. Several factors can determine that, such as mental health status and whether or not the student is court mandated. Our paychecks go directly to the center to pay our student fees, transportation fees, and put money on our commissary accounts. Most men work at one of the places our center partners with in the work therapy program, while some (like myself) find their own jobs. Call the center to speak with the work program coordinator, Tony Luther, for more details.
