Horrible....wish there was another treatment clinic....NEVER IN 20 YEARS have I had to go to Lexington due to "no nurses available to dose"....then get there and it took over 3 hrs!

I have been coming to Rowan for several years. I left McLeod centers to come here and was extremely pleased with the experience, until recently. Upon the hire of our new Program Director, we almost immediately lost the ENTIRE nursing staff, some of which had been here for 10 plus years. They were like family to many of us. I have quietly tried to give new management the opportunity to bounce back. It has been several months, and they STILL have an EXTREMELY high turnover of nursing staff. WHY IN THE WORLD would you push out your nursing staff, IN THE MIDDLE OF A NATIONWIDE WORKER SHORTAGE, NURSING SHORTAGE, AND PANDEMIC? Extremely horrible management decision. And now, I wait...AGAIN...been here 30 minutes, 2 people have been called to dose, and 13 ahead of me. Do the math...if you can't be prepared to wait crazy amounts of time...choose another clinic.

I have come here for a long time, and after a really frustrating ordeal with trying to transfer out to a new facility, the Program Director Rochelle, and Robi Lawrence bent over backwards, and went above and beyond to help me fix the issue that I had, and saved me from having to go without medication for an entire week (and before a big snow and ice storm that is coming)due to problems at the new facility. These are good people and they will not let you down. I am grateful and so relieved to have had them. Mcleod center basically refused to help me, even though it was their responsibility to do so (even with them knowing a storm is coming) If you need help, some places treat you badly, like Mcleod Center, and then wash their hands of it. But not this group. They will take care of you.

I have been to a couple of methadone clinics in my life and this is the best one I have been to as far as councilors go. I can tell him anything in the world and no judgement. Keenen is by far the best councilor I have ever had. He will go along way in life. Great person all around

Whichever you prefer. I myself take the wafers bc the due in the liquid upsets my stomach for some reason but the wafers have helped me tremendously.
Walk INS, but call and find out what day the doctor is going to be there to make sure you get dosed that day and it's a Lil process but after you get through it and get on the right side you feel so much better.
You see your counselor once a month or more of you just need someone to talk to, no weekly group but you do have a drug screen each month. Not anything crazy like that. They really want to help you here at Rowan not put you through boot camp.
Not sure why William said no it is not. It is most definitely a place to help you get off of illicit drugs. It's a methadone maintenance program. If you're addicted or dependent on any kind of opiate, this medication replaces it and also keeps you from craving your "drug of choice". Examples of drugs it helps you get off of and stay off of are: Percocet (oxycodone) Vicodin (hydrocodone) fentanyl morphine (oxymorphone) and heroin to name a few....... This place was not covered by insurance and it is 12 dollars a day..but as of July 2021 they now take medicaid if you have it you don't pay a penny. Lexington treatment also takes medicaid.. You have to go 6 days a week when you first start out. The only day you don't have to go is sunday. I hope this helps a little.
Not sure on the Suboxone, I tried it and it makes me really sick. Like they think I'm allergic to it sick, but the methadone (& I take the wafers not the liquid) helps me so much.
You speak a lil with the doctor and be honest about everything, you have nothing to hide here. They go ahead and do blood work, you will see the doctor for a few minutes and then you will dose. And your first time is $20 & $12 a day after that.
Carolina counseling off of Main Street in Salisbury prescribes subutex and they do accept insurance
I think as long as you have valid identification you will be ok
Add long as you keep pushing your drug screens you won't have any problems phasing up. It comes faster then you realize. But it is easy if you are doing the right things.
Yes I have a friend that goes there they take medicaid now but just started recently.
For the weather, we are expecting 13 to 15 inches of snow this weekend.
It was wed, thu & fri when I started here but it was almost 4 years ago.
You might want to look into who the owners are and write to them or maybe Miranda because there program director in Rowan will do as SHE sees fit, not what's best for the client that pays money everyday to come to that clinic.
I’ve been a patient there for 3 years. The intake is only a one time fee. You do incur that same charge once a year for blood work. It is NOT including your dose. The dose is $12 a day EVERY day. Doesn’t matter what your dose is. Doesn’t matter how many take homes. It’s 12 a day so 12 times 30 is $360 a month roughly unless there are 31 days or a short month etc. They start everyone pretty much on the same dose. They aren’t open on Sunday so on Saturday you pay $24. Unless you pay the week in advance. That is totally up to you and your financial situation. They don’t accept any insurance or Medicaid. Mccloud in concord DOES take Medicaid. They are open from 5am to 12 except Saturday. Saturday they close early. Still opening at 5am. When you add up the cost of your dose it’s $4,380 per year. Hope this helps. If you and your husband decide it’s something you want to do, get there early for intake (my advice). If you have other questions I would recommend calling and asking for Jennifer.
We do not file insurance on behalf of patients. However, we can assist patients in getting the information they need to file claims on their own. I hope this helps!
Our program is private pay only and offers methadone. You are free to contact us and we can assist you in finding options to meet your needs. You can also access the treatment locator on the SAMHSA website. From here, you can filter results to pretty much exactly what you need. I hope this helps!
We do intakes anytime a doctor is in the office. You will have to call for the schedule as it can change from week to week. As long as an individual is accepted into the program and there are no outlying concerns, the patient will dose the same day as seeing the doctor. The intake process can be fairly long so you want to make sure you have plenty of time to go through this process.
