I just got a rescue dog that was abused by her previous owners and she is afraid to go outside or even leave the couch.She will barely eat or drink how can I get her to go outside or not be afraid without forcing her?

First thing is you have to gain its trust take it slow

Time and snacks....leave something out to entice it out and low voices when talking to it

It's gonna take some time. Don't rush it. Treat the animal right and don't scream or shout or yell. You'll have to gain the animal's confidence. Don't make the animal do what the animal doesn't want to do. Speak to the animal nicely :) GoodLuck!
