This wonderful place is not really set up for children. They would be bored to tears. It is a place to break up the rush rush in life and take it easy. It's a place to just unwind.

(Owner) Actually...no. Lucille's isn't set up for kids under 14, and many of our guests are coming for their first "kid free" getaway in quite a long time. We're so serious about the no-kids-under-14 rule that our own granddaughters - who, by the way, are the VERY BEST kids on the planet! - are not allowed to be at the Inn when we have paying guests. If you want to rent all 13 rooms (weddings, family reunions, that sort of thing), then we will make an exception and allow them to join the party - but we do not have any additional bedding or equipment (like highchairs) available so you'll have to bring your own.

Yes, but if you plan on wanting to relax and actually enjoy the area it's time better spent without kids in tow, in my opinion. It's definitely more set up for adults

I would say there are a ton of places down in Helen that would be great for kids that are much closer to the water park and restaurants, and then next time you guys come, leave the kids at home and enjoy Lucille's. Helen is such a great place for families. Lucille's is a little couple's centered oasis that will be one of the best couple's get aways youll find anywhere in Georgia.
