First, the staff at GMR is wonderful, friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. We stayed at Chimney Mountain Chalet. Cleanliness was adequate but not outstanding. We immediately had TV issues, but someone was dispatched to correct them. While he was there, he asked where the cabin's information book was. There was none. He also asked where the frame was containing wifi information. There was none. We had no information whatsoever about anything. Shouldn't the housekeeper have noticed that both were missing and reported it before our arrival? Which brings me to my final complaint, our final charge for four nights was almost $1700. A $144 cleaning fee was included in that charge. At those rates, I resented being told to strip the beds and collect all the towels before we left. We are the guests, not the housekeeper's helpers.

Had the pleasure of booking Heaven's Door this year and was completely blown away by not only the beautiful, clean, vista-bestowing cabin (I mean, seriously, the views are AMAZING), but by the entire rental process from booking, to check-in, to departure... Georgia Mountain Rentals cares about the guest experience in a way that many, unfortunately, in the hospitality business seem to not. I would absolutely book through them again, and I would highly consider using them for any rental needs if you are renting a cabin publicly. Great job!

My husband and I stayed in 'Alone at Last' for a much needed getaway from the daily grind of everyday life. This was our first trip alone together in 7 years, so we were looking for privacy. That is just what we got! There were some other cabins nearby, but nothing encroaching. The hot tub was great for melting away our stress and relaxing. The cabin was cozy and secluded. It was clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable as well. The cabin was just 3 miles outside of Helen.We really enjoyed our stay and will happily stay with Georgia Mountain Rentals again if we visit north Georgia in the future. Their customer service was friendly and professional. They made a courtesy call about an hour before check-in and left detailed instructions for check-out via the app and email.

We are currently staying in Purpleaire. My hubby and I are here celebrating our 23rd anniversary. We originally booked four nights, but decided to extend our trip by another night. The cabin is gorgeous and has an amazing view. Everything is even better than it looked in the pictures. Comfy bed and nice rocking chairs on the deck. The staff has been extremely responsive and helpful to us before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental company!
