I've heard many good things about this veterinary clinic from the local rescues. When my cat was having an emergency and needed immediate care we gave this place a call, they had an opening to come in right away. We arrived and they quickly put us in a room and soon after the vet with his helper came, took my cat to another room and 2 minutes later came back. The vet was holding the bone that was stuck in her mouth and my cat was content now. It was our first time there and he waived the fees. We're extremely grateful to everyone at North Valley. Thank you for helping our Pluto. We'll be recommending this clinic to our friends and family!

The best veterinarian hospital we have taken our dogs too. I would like to give a shout out to the Wonderful staff in the front back and wonderful doctors, who helped us with a dog went through parvo and one who is going thru other things. Jennifer is great helping us with billing, calling us up checking on our dogs etc. I recommend this vet they are caring staff and doctors and treat the animals like they are their own. If I could rate more than a 5 star I would. Thank you all at the north valley veterinary hospital for everything you do and making sure our animals are well taken care of. First pic Minnie who is the one recently came in for blood issues. Second pic is Mater who as a pup had parvo. Third pic is CoCo who is deaf and was spayed with you guys. All were treated with love by the staff and doctors.

I had the absolute best visit here didn’t feel pressured or run unnecessary tests, I went to a another place on Palmdale Boulevard and was immediately told I needed $3000 worth of test, The doctor and Everyone that I came into contact with were so kind will definitely be back

I feel like it was so much better when under Dr. Bosma ownership! On hold for over 10 minutes to make an appt. Then they said they couldn't legally get me an appt for a stray I wanted a checkup on for 14 days. Just a checkup on a puppy I got from a homeless guy. I guess I could've lied in the meantime of trying to find it's family. She had no desire to help, ask for more details or suggest ways to help then said I was being rude - which appears to be their go to. Based on other reviews it is quite alright for the reception to provide this kind of service. No wonder their reviews are lacking near 4 while others are higher. Apparently it is rude for trying to get a dog a checkup!? Will sadly be finding another office.

Hey Leanna, We do not have a free spay and neuter service. We do take vouchers from the Lange Foundation. It’s not free but is low cost. ($50 per pet) We hope this helps and thank you for looking out and caring for your local kitty population. - NVVC Staff
Hey Anna, Our shots $13. Our vaccine clinic is on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 9am-12pm and 2-5:30pm. No appointment needed. Regards Andrew B.
Hi Isabella. Unfortunately we do not have a doctor who sees rats, but we can defintely refer you to a clinic that does. Please feel free to give our office a call and we can get you some information. Hope you have a great day!

Hi Fabian. It's recommended puppies are at least 8 weeks old to start them on vaccines. We have our low cost vaccine clinics on Tuesdays&Saturdays from 9am-12pm & 2-5:30pm and on Thursdays from 9am-12pm & 2-7:30pm. No appointment required, just come on in on either of those days between those hours and first set of vaccines are $34.
Hey Marc, Benadryl is safe to give to pets. A quick google search can give you the recommended dosage. However, if no improvement is seen in the next couple of days we recommended getting him seen by a veterinarian. It could be an upper respiratory infection or another medical issue. Regards Andrew B.
Yes they tend to birds as well as exotic animals
Did...will be there today! Thank you so much!!!
I believe an exam is $45. That is just to examine her and evaluate the situation. What is needed for her treatment will ultimately determine how much it will be total. Best choice if you're concerned is to have the exam. There is a card called CARE CREDIT where if approved you can use it for your pets needs. So $45 + whatever treatment she may need...
Hey Jenney, The cost for an exotic exam is $42. Regards Andrew B.
Hey Patricia, There are many different parasites it could be. However, the most likely culprit is ether fleas, ticks, or a bot fly. Each with specific treatments. We recommend seeing a doctor, determining what the parasite is and then recommending a treatment option. Regards Andrew B.
About $45, and they will give you a cost breakdown of services your pet may need, and guide you medically as to which procedures are urgent, and which ones can wait.
