We were not allowed to bring in our handbags, even though the contents could be inspected. If your seat cushion cannot be opened and thoroughly examined, you may want to purchase one that can. And, I would make prior arrangements with the accessibility office, just to ensure that security does not refuse to examine then permit your parcel.
